Dothan, Keys, Cowboy boot

Two weekends ago Josh and I went to Dothan, AL to be with family. Originally it was supposed to be just guys (my husband, brother-in-laws, and cousin), however once we found out that my sister and her family were moving to Kodiak, Alaska we decided that all of us should get together since we weren't able to see them for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

My cousin Lynn and her husband Arnie own a successful peanut farm in Dothan. They have a log cabin that they own a mile away from their home and that is where all 12 of us stayed. It was definitely in the country and was very relaxing and peaceful. My sisters, me and my cousin Lynn were able to go out and do a little shopping while my mom watched the kiddos and the guys went hunting. Josh shot a doe and a buck so the guys came home with meat. The women came home with cool things for our house that we found out a neat local shop that sells cool furniture and decorations. I found a cool set of keys and a boot--and totally could have bought more things had I more money and more room on the plane. :-)

Here are some pics from that weekend.

The place I put my keys and boot---and my oh my that green that my landlord painted looks super green and bright in this picture!
